Edgar Wright Confirms the 'Ant-Man' Script is Finished

Ant-Man's 2015 release date seems far away, but writer/director Edgar Wright isn't wasting any time. With work on The World's End done, Wright has confirmed he and Joe Cornish have had a chance to tackle and finish the script for Ant-Man.

Wright confirmed the news to Digital Spy in an interview, which you can watch below.

Fans might remember that a previous draft of the Ant-Man script was actually finished a number of years ago. However since then, Ant-Man has been repositioned as a canon entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, prompting a rewrite to better integrate it into the existing world.

With both Edgar Wright's The World's End and Marvel showing up to Comic-Con in full force next week, we can definitely expect to hear a little bit more on the now finished story then.

Ant-Man is currently scheduled for a November 6, 2015 release date.
