The Full-Length 'Star Trek' Into Darkness Trailer Has Way More Action

If the teaser wasn't enough for you (and let's face it, we could always do with a little more Star Trek), you'll be glad to know that a longer trailer is now online! This one sets a seriously dark tone, with Admiral Pike giving a speech about death, duty, and other things that make people sad.

We still don't know who Benedict Cumberbatch is playing, although he does make a slightly longer appearance in this version. The footage still seems to point towards some connection to Khan, although that could easily be an Abrams misdirection. Unless he wants us to think it's a misdirection. Unless he knew we'd see through his ruse and it's actually a mis-misdirection! The possibilities truly are endless.

Star Trek Into Darkness hits theaters on May 17.
