Glitch City Announces Holiday Game Jam to Raise Funds for Child's Play

The indie game space Glitch City, located in Los Angeles, announced today that they are putting together a holiday game jam, comprised of developers all over the world developing games to help those in need.

The jam's intentions, according to Glitch City, are to spread optimism, cheer, and holiday spirit through indie games. The event will see developers working from all over the world to create games, with the full collection of titles available for players to buy on December 23rd, with all proceeds going to the Child's Play charity.

Here's how it works, according to a press release:

Developers work anywhere, anytime in December - creating original games OR special holiday-themed demos of their released or unreleased games.  Each day on the site, a new door of the holiday calendar will unlock to reveal an in-progress game. Then, December 23rd, the games will be put on sale for charity for Pay-What-You-Want.  Pre-orders are available now on the site through the Humble Store.
