Happy 75th Birthday Superman!

75 years ago on April 18, 1938, Action Comics #1 was released, marking the very first appearance of Superman.

The brain child of Cleveland born Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the Original Superhero was rejected by numerous publishers and newspapers before being used, essentially as filler material, for Action Comics #1. Seven decades later, Superman has become one of the most popular characters in history, and is still going strong, with his sixth feature film, Man of Steel, coming out this summer.

I leave you now with some of my personal favorite Superman moments. Feel free to share your own in the comments below.

I should also mention that it's Lois Lane's Birthday too

This guy's probably watching anime, reading old comics, or thinking about wrestling. He also enjoys baking and long walks on the beach.
