'Jurassic Park 4' Is Coming in 2014!

Dinosaurs are heading back to the big screen! Universal is kicking 2013 off in an awesome way, by announcing a return to Jurassic Park. The fourth film in the franchise is apparently already in development, and will be aiming for a 3D release in 2014. That's not a lot of time at all to get this project together, but that also means we'll be hearing a lot more about it in the next year.

Steven Spielberg is currently signed on to help produce the project, although a director has yet to be announced. The last known draft of the script was done by Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, The Cell) back in 2011, but it's unclear if they will continue to develop it, or if this is a fresh start for the fourth film.

Anything could change at this point, but as of now, Universal is aiming to have Jurassic Park IV in theaters on June 13, 2014.
