Kingdom Hearts fans, proudly raise your Keyblades high for this latest bit of exciting news (and no, it’s not Kingdom Hearts 3). It has been known for a while that Square/Disney were planning on releasing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX to English speaking audiences for some time now. For a long time, all we knew was that it was coming out some time in the fall of this year, but now, there is not only just a specific date, but a little bit of incentives for pre-ordering.
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX has been slated for release on September 10 in North America and September 13 in Europe. The game is to include Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (only available to Japanese audiences until now), Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories, and cut scenes telling the story of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. All three games will have a HD touch up, as well as added extras such as trophies.
Also, those who pre-order the game will be given something a little extra: a limited edition art book. It is said to contain tons of character art, sketches, as well as some pieces that have never been available to North American eyes until now. Much of the art in the book is done by the director of the game, as well as many Final Fantasy titles, Tetsuya Nomura.
This is definitely something that any huge Kingdom Hearts fan is going to want to get their hands on. At the price of $39.99, and considering what you’re getting out of the entire package, it seems like a really great deal!
