LEGO to Release 'Simpsons' Sets in 2014

Your LEGO Springfield project is finally a go! The company has officially confirmed that a Simpsons series of LEGO sets will launch in 2014. A LEGO power plant? LEGO Android Dungeon? LEGO Krustyland!? Be still my beating heart.

ABC News revealed the plans, although we still don't have any official confirmation on what sets are in the works. My only hope is there's enough of them to actually recreate a fair chunk of Springfield. I will probably need to start wearing shoes around the house, but hey, worth.

Lego spokesman Roar Rude Trangbaek wouldn't give any details about what characters would be included, but said the company hopes the series will "appeal to fans of 'The Simpsons' family."
