Marvel Considering 'Daredevil' and 'Punisher' TV Series

Punisher and Daredevil are now back home with Marvel, but so far, we haven't heard anything about their plans for the two characters. In a recent interview, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that TV might be where the pair are headed.

"The Punisher movies that have been made were both very hard ‘R’s, and were in some places, unbelievably gory, to comedic effect, but I do think that what’s exciting about having all these avenues is that you can explore all the aspect of these characters," Feige said at a recent Thor 2 press junket. "In the comics some of these characters are very, very dark, and while Marvel Studios haven’t done that necessarily, some of the Marvel movies, the Blade films, and the Punisher films – you look at The Walking Dead on AMC; that would be hard ‘r’ if that as a movie. So television does sometimes allow you to explore other aspects."

If Agents of SHIELD continues to do well, more Marvel series could certainly be in the near future. We recently got word that the studio was developing four seperate series and a miniseries, could Punisher and Daredevil be two of them?
