It's been rumored (but not confirmed, of course), that the everyone's favorite Y-t 1300 Freighter is completely finished. It lies among the rubble of Kessel Run, waiting for some kind soul to bring it back to life.
An unnamed source told Cinemablend:
"A full-scale 1:1 Millennium Falcon has been built as well as the interiors of the ship for filming. The Falcon is done – inside and out. The sets were built off-site, ready to move to Lucasfilm/Bad Robot were ready to move into Pinewood."
Despite this awesome news, fans have one small thing to be worried about: the appearance of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars VII has yet to be confirmed. For all we know, it could be transported to Disneyland as part of an interactive ride.
No matter what its future holds, the Millennium Falcon will be put to good use somewhere. Star Wars VII comes out in theatres December 18, 2015. Just a few more years, folks!
