The Narnia series is slowly but surely running its course. Eight years after The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe premiered, the producers have hired Life of Pi screenwriter David Magee to script the fourth installment in the series.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair entered earnest development earlier this year, with no solid release date or even a director set yet.
Disney distributed the first two films in the series, with Fox taking over for the third, although it's unclear right now which of them will handle of the fourth.
This installment should be interesting, as for the first time in the film series (if the movie stay true to the book that is), we won't see an appearance from any of the Pevensie children. Instead, The Silver Chair starred Eustace Scrubb from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
