'R.I.P.D.' Trailer Is 'Men In Black,' But With Ghosts, Jeff Bridges, and Ryan Reynolds

It seems that not even Green Lantern could spoil Ryan Reynolds' taste for CGI-monster-filled blockbusters. His latest film, R.I.P.D. puts him in the role of a dead cop recruited by a supernatural organization that polices wayward spirits. Basically, imagine Men in Black, but replace the aliens with ghosts, Will Smith with Ryan Reynolds, and Tommy Lee Jones with Jeff Bridges doing a Sam Elliott doing a Jeff Bridges impersonation.

R.I.P.D. was directed by Robert Schwentke (Red), and based on the comic book series of the same name. It also stars Kevin Bacon, Mary Louise Parker, and Robert Nepper; and will hit theaters on July 19. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
