Steam continues to get more intriguing with this out-of-nowhere update. A beta "trading" system has gone active, allowing players to swap TF2 items for unredeemed games, and vice versa, with those on their friends list. You can also just trade those unused games for other unused games. Steam teases the ability to trade TF2 items for in-game stuffs in future supportable games as well, creating a sort of "Valve currency" I hereby dub "The Newell."
You can read more about this latest development here, and opt in for the beta by going to Steam > Settings, and hitting opt in for the Steam Trading Beta. Someone give me games, I have approximately 9.7 million Kritzkriegs.
More on this as it develops, I'm intrigued.
