Two Roles Recast for New 'Game of Thrones' Season

There will be two roles re-cast in Game of Thrones season four. The most notable of these will be the role of Daario, played by Ed Skrein in season three. Dutch actor Michiel Huisman, who has played the role of Sonny, in the series Treme, and Liam in Nashville, has been cast to play the role.

The other role being re-cast will be that of Joffrey’s younger brother, Tommen. Dean-Charles Chapman, who played Martyn Lannister, is taking over the role from Callum Wharry.

This isn’t the first time actors have been switched on Game of Thrones. Both the roles of Gregor Clegane and Beric Dondarrion have changed hands before. It will be interesting to see, however, how the change in actors will affect the part of someone as notable as Daario.
